The Strength Within RFDS Social and Emotional Wellbeing Workforce Development Program is run through the Capacity Building Unit of the RFDS Cairns Base. This program has been run by the RFDS since 2006 when it began working to develop capacity in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities serviced by the Royal Flying Doctor Service (QLD Section) in Cape York to respond to social and emotional wellbeing including suicide prevention and intervention through training and employment.
