The Vivek Express had slowed down since it was trailing Saurashtra Express. Linke Holfmann Busch (LHB) coaches are the passenger compartments of Indian Railways that have been developed by Linke Hofmann Busch of Germany . It was taken over by Alstom in 1998 and produced by Rail Coach Factory (RCF) in Kapurthala, India. They have been used since 2000 on the Indian Broad Gauge network of Indian railways. Initially, 24 air conditioned coaches were imported from Germany that would be used for the Shatabdi Expresses, after which the Rail Coach Factory started manufacturing after technology transfer. The coaches are designed for an operating speed up to 160 km/h and could go up to 200 km/h. However, they have been tested up to 180 kph. Their length of 23.54m and a width of 3.24m means a higher passenger capacity, compared to conventional rakes or Integral Coach Factory (ICF) rakes. They are considered to be "anti-telescopic", which means they do not get one into another or rides one on another when they gets involved in a collision (chiefly head-on). These coaches are made of stainless steel and the interiors are made of aluminium which make them lighter as compared to conventional rakes. Each coach also has an "advanced pneumatic disc brake system" for efficient braking at higher speeds, "modular interiors" that integrate lighting into ceiling and luggage racks with wider windows. The improved suspension system of LHB coaches ensures more riding comfort for the passengers compared to conventional rakes. The air conditioning system of the LHB coaches is of higher capacity compared to the older rakes and is controlled by a microprocessor which is said to give passengers better comfort than the older coaches during summer and winter seasons. They are relatively quieter as each coach can produce a maximum noise level of 60 decibels while conventional coaches can produce 100 decibels. Each LHB coach costs between Rs 15 million to 20 million, whereas the power car which houses a generator costs about 30 million. Not only premium fully AC trains like Rajdhani Express, Shatabdi Express and Duronto Express are getting Lhb rakes but many superfast trains (not fully AC trains) like Mahabodhi express, Poorva Express, Sampoorna Kranti Express are with LHB loads and may be by Diwali vacation even Karnavati Express will be given LHB rake. Premium Express trains in India are the first trains to have a dynamic train ticket pricing which is similar to airline booking system. Fare rises as seats become fewer. I travel by autorickshaw on Mumbai - Ahmedabad National Highway/Expressway for a distance of 10kms from Bagwada to Vapi. This is share autorickshaw. Fare is INR10 per person. Today evening at 19:00hrs, a major fire broke out at Tyre Factory just outside Nahur Railway station. The railway station is totally closed for public since it is situated a stone throw distance from the station. On 01/01/2014 afternoon, BRC WAP-5# 30046 with Amul advertisement gets the superfast 22210 New Delhi Mumbai Central Duronto Express at Mps (Maximum Permissible Speed) of 120kph at Umroli. In Amul ads, there was a common phrase as Utterly Butterly Delicious. From this, I modified and made this headline. Amul is the first company in India to advertise its brand on train locomotives. Amul is an Indian dairy firm at Anand in the state of Gujarat, India. It has signed a deal with Western Railway (a zone of Indian Railways) to advertise on BRC (Vadodara) WAP5's. A panoramic view of the deep forests and mountain ranges of Satpura taken from the Tamia vantage point (Rest House) in Madhya Pradesh. The picturesque Tamia is located around 45 km from Chhindwara. Tamia, Patalkot and Pachmarhi are the most well reputed hill stations of Madhya Pradesh and monsoon is the best time to be there. On 21/05/2017, I boarded 24 coach 12472 Katra Bandra Terminus Swaraj Express from Vapi to Bandra Terminus. Locomotive was very dirty GZB WAP-4# 22735. Departed from Vapi at 15:55Hrs, 35mins late and reached Bandra Terminus 5mins late inspite of 5-6 Speed restrictions. It was given top priority with Green Signals all the way till Santacruz. The videos taken are as follows; 1) A New Freight Terminal & Dedicated Freight Corridor work happening between Bhilad & Sanjan Railway Stations in Gujarat. Doing well above 100kph and I captured it will be aggressively speeded past Sanjan Station at MPS. 2) Speeding through deserted Bordi Road station in Maharashtra 3) After clearing speed restriction, we started accelerating superbly since it was descending gradient and overtook 19216 Porbandar Mumbai Central Saurashtra Express at Gholvad at good speed. 4) Aggressively going past Dahanu Road railway station.
